10 Must-Try Non-Alcoholic Drinks for a Healthier Happy Hour

Three glasses and flowers spread out on a wooden coffee table.

Raising the Bar

Let’s be honest: non-alcoholic (NA) drinks used to be a little sad. Watery beers. Slightly off tasting wine. Sparkling grape juice pretending to be champagne. But I’m happy to say that we’ve come a long way. Like many others, I started drinking more than usual during the height of the COVID lockdown. And now, I’m looking for fun alternatives to keep the vibes going without that dreaded hangover, bloat, and nausea.

I asked my friends what their favorite NA beverages are. And what good is this list if it’s not shared? Whether you’re taking a break, in recovery, cutting back for your health, or just not feeling like drinking tonight, there are tons of amazing non-alcoholic options out there that don’t feel like a compromise. And yes, they actually taste good.

These aren’t cheap mocktails or weird soda-wine hybrids. They are beautifully bottled, thoughtfully made, and genuinely enjoyable sips. Some even taste like the real thing.

Unified Ferments

This wild kombucha is giving fermented tea with a wine soul. The Snow Chrysanthemum flavor tastes like orange wine, and the bottle is pure art. If you want a fancy sip that feels like you’re part of the dinner party, this is it.

Wilfred’s Orange & Rosemary Aperitif

A bright, slightly sweet aperitif that hits different with a splash of club soda. It does have more sugar than some others, so keep that in mind. Still, it’s a good one for spritz season.

These bubbly, botanical, social sippers are kinda glam. They lean sweeter, but the flavors are unique and complex. Best served cold in a cute glass.

Leitz’s Eins Zwei Zero Riesling

Shockingly wine-like. Like, actual good wine. Crisp, dry, and balanced—this one is for the people who miss sipping a real glass of white.

From the folks at ISH Spirits—these pre-batched gin & tonic cocktails are easy, fizzy, and fun for those rooftop summer nights.

Weihenstephaner Non-Alcoholic Wheat Beer

This one’s brewed by a German brewery founded in 1040. Not a typo. It’s smooth, classic, and delivers that traditional wheat beer feel—just without the buzz.

Phony Negroni by St. Agrestis

Two Roads Non-Alcoholic Juicy IPA

This one’s got a little bite, a little body, and a weirdly good umami thing going on. A beer for people who like beer.

Mikkeller Non-Alcoholic Tasting Box

Cute packaging, big flavors, and tons of variety. Mikkeller nails craft beer energy, no alcohol required. This tasting box is a great way to find your fave.

Non-Alcoholic Phony Negroni by St. Agrestis

I was honestly blown away by this phony negroni. It’s heavier on the negroni than the phony. It’s refreshing, light, and not too sweet. A swanky little bottle to boot.

So, whether you’re into kombucha that drinks like wine or IPAs that still have depth, there are seriously good options out there. The bottles look great on your bar cart. The flavors are actually worth sipping. And your body will thank you in the morning.

Cheers to drinking something different.
